Size… Matters?

I am not sure if there is a full moon somewhere I do not know about or if people are just falling off their rockers.  My size has been brought up in a few conversations of late, for the most part they have been benign comments, but of course at least one comment had to surpass my crass threshold.
These comments got me to thinking, I freely acknowledge I am very fluffy.  As I have stated in the past part of it is medical conditions, medications (prednisone will pack on the pounds in a HURRY) and part of it is life style.  Even at MY ideal size I am still considered to some to be fluffy.  My fluffy body has successfully complete accomplishments that many skinny people would never even dream of.  As I sit here and type this I look at my wall with my medals hanging from them. During a number of those races some skinny little bitch has made a comment along the lines of ‘don’t let the fat chick beat you’.  The funny thing with that is, back in the day I was a sprinter and have managed to maintain my sprinting legs.  The reason I call them skinny little bitches is because they would actually have the nerve to make a comment like that instead of cheering on a fellow runner.  Just because someone is a thin/skinner runner does not mean they are necessarily a skinny little bitch, it is all in their attitude.
Since 2007 I have completed a total of:
7 marathons
1 marathon relay
12 half marathons
1 20K
1 10-miler
1 8-miler
1 7-miler
2 10Ks
3 5-milers
1 4-miler
18 5Ks
1 half ironman triathlon
9 sprint distance triathlons
Raced running miles = >500 miles, this does not include all of the training runs that were required to accomplish this feat.

I am a big beautiful woman and if you have an issue with that you can go jump off a cliff!
